Do I have a "peanut cam?"
I was reading some posts about 305s not laying rubber and "peanut cam" came up and I was wondering about my cam. I can lay rubber fine with my 305 TPI but apparently some of yall can't. Peanut Cams are bad huh?
Can you guys post some links to some cams that would go in my 305, if its possible post a link to some good ones that you can put in a 350 TPI later.

Re: Do I have a "peanut cam?"
My '86 still has the "peanut" cam, a.k.a. "L.A." cam (LameAss). It also has the original Goodyear Eagle ZR50 front tires on it, and is on it's third set of rear tires (and now I can't find the Gatorbacks any more). Does that tell you anything?
The 2.77 BW axle locks, and both tires enter "spinfest" mode whenever I press the fun pedal from a stop. If the air is calm, I can smoke up an intersection pretty nicely.

90-92 TPI's all have the good 350 camshaft. You're fine.
