Yeah, people post that all the time.
It has nothing to do with "modifying lifters".
All it is, is "instructions" on how to hack up a pre-roller block to accept some factory roller lifters (NOT the ones you have now).
It involves, among other things, drilling into the oil passage that feeds the main bearings, and installing 3 leaks that penetrate that passage.
Pretty scary stuff. Requires a fair amount of hacking on the top of the lifter bores, as well.
I suggest you don't take it too seriously; and rather, if you want to use your factory roller stuff, find a factory roller block for it.

you actually wont be moddifiying anything besides the block... basically 3 holes in the oil passage need to be drilled and tapped then the area around the lifter bores needs to be made pretty flat to support the dogbone then you have to options for cam endplay... you can use a thrust bottun or you can make provisions for a thrust plate... like the OEM setup...
how ever you CANNOT USE regular V8 ROLLER LIFTERS... they MUST BE from a 4/6 cyl engine... i would go with the 6 cylinder ones... lot less to remove than a 4 cyl... if you are going to the junkyard...
it should also be noted that this setup isnt viable for lifts in excess of .510
as the lifters will fall to far into the bores and slip out of the dogbones
