Air pump delete options?
I tried to do a search, but ended up in a deleted thread hell! Anyways, I have seen a bracket and pulley on ebay, but wondering if anyone had a different place to get them, or even a way to make your own. I don't want to open the air pump to make it "freewheel" though.

Re: Air pump delete options?
i just took my pump out and got a different belt and routed it abit different so i didnt have to go with a pulley.
if you dont want that, then buy a delete pulley. forget where to get them at, but i'm sure ebay has them. i bought a cheap AC delete pulley there for 30 bucks and its working great so far

They want around $70 for the AIR delete pulley on ebay
Taking a different belt is an easy option, but not a good one. The longer belt run allows the belt to do some flapping.

ill go take a picture in a minute, all you do is completly gut the air system, and run a shorter belt. Wish i could tell you the size but my shop did it when i had the motor rebuilt and havent had to replace the belt yet.

The Waco Belt for a 305 L03 is 968K6. Don't know that's for your engine or not. That is if your eliminating the Pump.

Re: Air pump delete options?
thats for any car with the serpentine setup
heres the tech article off the main tgo page, dont see why youd waste money and space in your engine bay on a pulley
