Slave/master cylinder help Please!!!

Ok, I posted this on the transmission board last week and did not get a response so please someone help! I just finished swaping out my 700r4 for a wc t5 and I have everything up and running except the master cylinder and slave cylinder. The pieces from gm come hooked together with a hard line, however the auto parts store sells them seperate and without any threads or fittings to hook a like up to them. So how are you guys hooking them up? I tread thread a fitting in the master, but its made of plastic so it cracked Any help would be appreciatted and if you guys have any pics of what you did that would be even better. Thanks.

Re: Slave/master cylinder help Please!!!

the master/slave assm from gm is complete and pre bled, it is installed as a unit. the master and the slave are available from parts houses but the hard
plastic hose usually is not. the hose is sealed by an o-ring and retained by a
roll pin. trying to thread in fittings into the plastic will result in what you have already discovered.

Does anyone know if a 4th gen assembly will work? I can get one from a 93-97 car pre-assembled.
