I did a search on here and didnt come up with anything related to what is going on with my car. I can start it, and drive for about 3 or 4 minutes and the car will cut off. Then it takes me anywhere from 10-20 minutes to get it started again.
It isnt a charging problem, I kept my eye on that. I hear the fuel pump engaging so im getting the pressure. I made sure all spark plug wires are on good and everything is plugged into the distributor and coil. I recently replaced the coil with MSD's coil. The grounding problem i WAS having isnt a problem anymore. That was the first thing I checked.
When I do get the car started again, it smells REALLY rich. Ideas? I was thinking maybe the fuel filter?

it could be flooding from cranking it so much. check your coil when a coil is bad some times it works and when it gets hot it stops

 

check the coil, the msd coils are not the highest quality (I know at least 10 people who have had defective ones, and I had 2 defective ones)

 

if this coil is bad, then this would be my second MSD coil that is trash
