Does anyone have Desktop Dyno and could run a combination through it? I just bought Virtual Engine Dyno and ran my combo on it and came up with 702 hp @ 6250 rpm and I know there is know way it's making that kind of power.

I haven't put the motor in the car yet. I thought it would be 575 to 600 max but if this thing is true I may have to rethink the rest of the drivetrain.

If someone was to do it they would need the flow numbers of your heads.

 

If you're talking about a 700HP small block you're well beyond what DD can accurately predict. At the 300-500HP level it's resonably accurate, but when you get into the really crazy combos it just doesn't have the intelligence to give you a good estimate. There's only so much you can do with half a meg of simulation code.

 

Head flow is:

Intake 308cfm at .700"
Exhaust 207cfm at .700"

I know it's not going to be exact. Just looking for a rough ballpark even just to see if comes up close to what Virtual Dyno said

Thats what it spit out to me.

 

I just checked it on DynoSim. Came within a couple of horsepower to what MadMax has. 625/544

I used my Dart Pro One 200cc numbers for the lower lift flows on the head.
