Stalls...a lot.

A few months back I helped a friend in need who needed a car because theres broke down so i lent them my camaro fo about a week, when it was returned to me the car would run good but then it would stall out. I noticed that when the car would stall out i would keep oil pressure and if i tapped the gas it would fire back up. I replaced the fuel filter and ran some fuel system cleaner through it, still no change, any ideas?

Re: Stalls...a lot.

is it like a constant one? And eveytime it happens and you push the clutch in it will drop to like 1000 rpms, then wobble and drop to zero? like a complete loss of power like theres no combustion? i'm in the same boat but its getting worse and worse cuz this is my DD and it used to just happen in like 5th but now its starting to happen in like 1st when i floor it, my thoughts are leading to the FP but i dont wanna drop 400$ just to not fix it, just remember that an engine needs 3 things: fuel, spark and air, make sure your plugs are firing and your wires are in good shape etc, run throught the list untill you find out, later this week im gonna put a fuel system analyzer up on my car to see if i can pinpoint the issue, if i figure it out ill let you know

Re: Stalls...a lot.

Yea its a constant stall i cant really pinpoint of its on wot or not because it happens sometime when im at cruising speed. I replaced my fuel filter and checked my wires, maybe it is my fuel pump ill replace it and see if i have any luck ( the people before me cut a whole and put an access panel over top so it only takes about 20 min.) Sucks its your DD though.

Ok I know its been like 3 months but I finally got around to fixing it I have came close to getting rid of the car about 3 times. The problem with the car was the ignition module.
