11 second (10s on 150 shot) EFI 406, whats it worth?

This is for the entire motor in my car with 730 ECM/harness, and tuning software. Would make a great edition to any thirdgen and will easily bolt right in and run 10s with a 150 shot. Just plug in the harness and add fuel lines!

Looking for a little help to what this package is worth. The reason I'm selling is that I'm looking to do an LSX swap. It is still in the car and a full demo can be had in person if desired.

It has tons of really excellent parts, I'm just going to name a few:
AFR heads
SRP forged pistons
forged crank
Eagle rods
custom Roller Cam
MSD Pro billet distributor
Jet hot coated Hooker long tubes.
CSI starter
Meziere electric water pump for serpentine.

Thanks in advance!

Attached is a decent list of what would be included: Most of the costs are from Summit. I think this package could be duplicated for around 11K.

Could you mention how many runs you currently have on this engine? Nitro

Hmmm, it has about 15k miles on it. As far as passes, I do not know. I go to the track about 5 times a year.

Got new bearings, oil pump, timing chain, valve springs and a leakdown test for preventative maintenance 2k miles ago. Everything looked good but the timing chain was a slacker. Replaced stuff just in case.

ALL cylinders leakdown tested at under 5 percent, cold.

considering you have alittle over 10 grand into it, and its got that mileage with a fresh overhaul a few thousand miles ago, i'd say its worth 6-7 grand. depends on the buyer and seller. Some ppl are in a hurry to sell. Some are not. some ppl think they can build one for less, others can not.

But as complete as you have it, 7-8 wouldnt be bad either. you will never fully recover the cost of what you put into it, we all know this... But i also think 5 grand would be somewhat a lowball offer.

you cant buy that performance anywhere else in a turnkey motor for less than 8 grand.

i'd say 4k or less. You won't get NEARLY what you put into it and parting it out would be worth more than whole most of the time.

Thanks for the replies!

I know won't get what i paid but 4k is very low. I have around 11k (the Excel spreadsheet isn't all inclusive) in it and that DOESN'T include engine assembly or any labor for tuning. (~$300 and ~$400)

Will be a really nice package for someone.
