Car won't start, ignition coil?
Last weekend I had to move my car from my parents'. It was raining, but I put a tarp over it and the cowl hood. When I went back the next day the car wouldn't start and I ended up killing the battery. Disconnecting the 4 wire ECM and tach wires did nothing. I checked the pink wire and its getting voltage. Several days later I returned with the battery recharged and it started up but was popping like crazy and had almost no power. The weird thing is that this seems to have happened all of a sudden.
The ignition only a couple of years including Accel distributor and MSD wires. The only thing not new is the Accel super coil ignition coil. Any way to test one of these things?

I think it was bad gas. Either from sitting for the winter or moisture from the rain.
I took the ignition apart, no problem, started, but ran like $#!+. Then next morning started up, again ran like $#!+, but I decided to drive it to my place anyway. By the time it warmed up it was fine, go figure.
