i just want to drive my car
i just want to drive my car
i have a 91 rs with a 350 swap the car has turned over many times. its been in storage for the past 3 years i have started it before the last time was back in oct 07. now it was winterized, and everything put in a new battery. i took the tbi apart and cleaned it out in doing that i found its not priming nor injecting gas when i crank it, but if i put gas thru the carb it fires up like a champ then dies. my question is can this be a fuel pump problem, fuel filter,or relay? it never did this before first time it does that. if yall can help out id appreciate it.

The fuel pump relay is behind the drivers side kick panel. Pull the panel and the relay. Take the cover off of the relay. Inspect the contacts, looks like old distributor contact points. They may be bad or corrosion may have had it's way with it. Test it if you have an ohm meter.
Also check your fuel pump fuse. Located under the left side drivers side knee panel.
