Re: heads
Five7kid does.
They work alright. Don't expect AFR's or miracle performance. But S/R torquer heads are quite similar to our stock 305 heads (not TBI heads, but the real ones) so expect performance similar to that.

I would not bolt them on out of the box. The valve seat machining leaves a big step in the port, and the valve guides take up a lot of space. They are a little better than stock as they already have 1.94" intake valves, the rocker stud holes don't protrude into the ports, have screw-in rocker studs, and there is a little more meat for port clean-up.
After doing the Standard Abrasives Do-It-Yourself porting and polishing, the chambers measured 64cc. I didn't do any valve unshrouding (they were fine as-is), just polished the chambers. Even though they have "58cc" cast into them, the chambers were 64cc.
I never put them on a flow bench.
Don't use 1" header bolts on them. I punched through into the water jacket on one bolt hole.
Never had it on a dyno, either, but based on conversion formulas, it's probably putting out slightly more than the rated ZZ4 power.

Re: heads
Looking for some insight. I am looking for a set of heads that I could use on my lo3 and then use them on a 350 down the road. Is this possible with any performance benefits on both blocks or is this just wishful thinking?
I was also trying to look up the S/R Torquer heads for the 305 but can't seem to find a part #. Only one for for the 350 with 67 and 76 chambers.

Re: heads
Trickflow makes a really nice set of aluminum heads with 175cc ports and 60cc (?) chambers designed to be used on the small bore motors like the 305, but they are excellent heads that would work well on a 350 too. They are somewhat similar to the LT1 aluminum cylinder heads.

You able to do much tuning on the TBI setup? You can just port some 416/081 heads. Low cost outlay. They work alright on a mild 350 engine.
If you're going to pony up for aftermarket heads, I wouldn't get the cheapy ones that barely flow. That's paying to buy the bullets to shoot yourself in the foot. I'd just wait until you have the 350 if you're going to buy aftermarket heads.
Or port up 305 heads and use them on both, then later when you've got the coin burning a hole in your wallet, buy some good heads for your hot 350.

Re: heads
Right on. No, I haven't done any tuning yet. I just recently started finding info and tech on my car (tgo is awesome)! I put a JET chip in it right after I bought it. It made a noticable difference. I've done the open element, removed the smog crap and just about to get some long tube heddmans. Am going to start figuring out how to tune it myself next.
