rod knock = cam bearing?

So had my motor apart looking for what i thought was a bad rod knock, and the only thing I found was the rear cam bearing was pushed back some. The cam looks fine. Could this have been causing the knocking that could sound like a rod knock? (everyone thought for sure it was a spun rod, it was a loud knock) All of the main and rod bearings looked completely fine. As did the pistons, bores, and wrist pins. We're stumped on this one.

the gear inside the pump was broke only had about 20lbs of pressure but when you have as much as i do in your car I'd check everything to be safe

I have a miiling high volume oil pump it works great I've always got great oil pressure as far as everything else sounds like you've already checked everything as far as bearings I'd deffinatly would put new cam bearings in since they have some damage

alot better oil pressure I have about 45lbs at idle and about 65lbs going down the highway it's just my oppinion if you wanna go stock that should be fine to I'm kinda hard on mine so the more oil pressure the better she's never starving for oil
