alternator wiring

I just switched from efi to carb. Now my question is what do I do with the three wires that come from the alternator? I know one was for the fuel pump..???

Anyways what should I do with that?

Re: alternator wiring

Nothing should need to be changed having to do with the alternator and its wiring.
Same wires plugged into the same alternator.

Re: alternator wiring

pics? I'm totally clueless here. There should be no wires connected directly from the alternator to the fuel pump, unless your fuel pump has been replaced and upgraded with a hotwire kit to hook up the 12v power wire of the fuel pump to the alternator. Since you went carb, you'll need either that stock-style fuel pump and a regulator to feed the carb, a mechanical fuel pump, or an electric fuel pump designed to work at PSI's that carbs operate. Good luck
