Very simple question

I tried searching but didnt find much but im doing my timing and i thought i knew where the #1 wire was but when i adjusted the timing the car ran like garbage i thnk i may have had it on the wrong wire, if someone can show me where the #1 wire is that would be great. Thanks

Did you disconnect the computer ignition advance wire before setting the timing? If not, you will be fighting with the computer for timing control while trying to adjust it. It's a tan, one-wire plug, located just above the blower motor housing.

well i did have it on the correct wire, as for disconnecting that wire i did not do that, i really hope timing it with that wire off fixes the problem. thanks again
