ignition module burnt..

i had my ignition module replaced in oct 2007 because he burnt out on my way home to store it.. so i had no choice to replace it instead of towing it 6hrs home...

well i pulled it out of storage may 2nd and it burnt out may 6th... the part had under 1500km on it...

i just had the new ignition module replaced yesterday....

it was noted that the part that was replaced was not screwed in tight.. one of the screws was lose..
would this screw being lose cause it to burn out the part or is there anything i should be concerned about that might be shorting out my ignition module?

did you remember to smear the grease on the bottom before you put it on. ive seen that that will kill it fast.

i did replace it... it was the problem...
checked the coils and stuff.. everything was good..
put in a new ignition module and it fired right up...

just wondering if there might be anything else burning it out..
my other one failed under 1500km of use... but prob cuz it wasnt tight...
AGAIN

cruising at 120-130 and the car just shut itself of..
that sucks ALOT!!.. lol

but all is good now..

they're pretty pricey out here.. :S
cheapest i could find was $75...
im in canaduh...

i couldnt wait to order a part on the net...
need the car for work.. already missed 2 days.. lol

also... after shipping.. i would save $5 on the part.. lol
