SeaFoam?? will it work

I have a 88 vert with a 305tbi. Last year I put it away while it was running poorly. I will start and run/idle great. It after it warms up stutters and will only drive if you flutter the throttle. I am putting in new plugs pcv air filters etc. I was told to throw in some seafoam to the gas.. Is this a good thing to do or will it make my car run worse??

Re: SeaFoam?? will it work

stuff works great! but the tank is not the best place. pull off one of the vacuum lines that lead to the intake manifold and let it suck half of the can in. Then do half of what is left in the tank and the other half right on the TB blades to clean them up. Real easy and after you do all that. TURN it off for five minutes.... then turn it on and go for a long 20 min highway run and you'll be smoking for awhile but it will clean it all out real nice : )

What does your fuel injector spray pattern look like when its running good? How about when its running poorly? Have you checked fuel pressure yet?

Re: SeaFoam?? will it work

I haven't really spent a ton of time on it as of yet. However this weekend I am taking it out of storage and want to get out far a first ride. I will check these things and will report back... and no engine light on.. just running rough while in drive==under load. thanks

Re: SeaFoam?? will it work

I bought the stuff today for the tune up.. You know plugs cap rotor etc.
I also bought a spray made by (or for GM) called Cleans.
I guess spray while running and then it will clean out any gunk.
I will let you people know how it works out.
