It's rusted and ruined. I fixed the gas tank and coated the inside, but the sending unit is ruined. Any suggestions on where to find a used one?

That seems to be the right part. It is the part that fits in the tank and reads the fuel level and sends it to the fuel guage in the dash. I have a 350 V8 5-speed tran.

Are you sure it is a 350 the only info I show says 1984 Z28s had only 305 as a V8 no 350s what is you VIN#

It wouldn't have had a 350 from the factory, but it might have one now. Wouldn't make a difference, just use the 305 part.

As that site shows, the same part was used for V6 and V8 cars.
I'm using the original V6 carb pick-up and fuel lines for my 350. It's all 3/8" stuff.
I can't imagine paying $153 plus shipping for that part. Check the classifieds here.

i got a new pump AND sending unit and it MIGHT have been that much, look around, don't just take the first offer that you find or u are gonna be broke with no parts, be thrifty and look around
