Lost engine power?
I have a 1992 Z28 with the 5.7 engine in it. Today while I was driving, the check engine light came on, and I lost power. The car didn't die, or stop moving, it was just taking much more RPM's to drive at the speed I was wanted. Kinda felt like I was only riding on 4 cylinders. Luckily I was close to home, so I turned it around, a few moments later, power came back to the car as normal, and the engine light went off. This is the second or third time this has happened. I would take it to the shop, but the engine light is off now.
What could be wrong? Should I take it to the shop anyway first thing tomorrow and tell them what happened? Maybe have them check it out? Is this a common problem? Any help would be great.
Thanks.

Re: Lost engine power?
Yeah a quick peek in the computer should reveal whatever the problem is.
