pushrod question

pushrod question

did the factory ever make 1 piece pushrods? i just opened up a 350 i just bought and found 1 piece steel i wanna say pushrods(since surface rust in certain spots from sitting around). they look to be 7.8" and of course its from a flat tappet motor.

The factory only made 1 piece pushrods. Aftermarket is where you see 3 piece ones.
Sounds perfectly normal to me.

well maybe i dont know what im talking about. what i meant is there are no ***** on the end of this pushrod. its all 1 piece. ive seen all other stock pushrods with a ball on each end so i figured those were 3 pieces. so do you get what im asking?
