I need help deciding on an intake for my new motor!!!!

Hey guys, im getting ready to get a new motor for my car and i have heard the edelbrock torker intake (which is what i have now) is not that great and an air gap or performer will be better for fuel economy and everything else. Is there any truth to this? My new engine is a 350 .030 over (355), 10.5:1 compression ratio making 310hp and 330torque. (Just in case you guys needed to know)

As long as your not over carb'ed, a dual plane intake will provide better low and mid range torque and throttle response. Which brand and style you choose is entirely up to you. How will you use and drive the vehicle?

Not trying to sell a magazine but, in case your interested, Chevy High Performance recently ran a pretty good comparison of intakes, their performance (based on their test mule) and the aprox costs.

What ever you choose, ditch the Torker. Your 355 will be happy you did.

Good luck

It's gonna be my car to drive to cruise nights and car shows, and back and forth to school. So, im really needing something for low to mid end gain. But, im just wondering, what is so bad about the torker?
