Oil pressure spikes high
My oil pressure spikes high (45-55) but only briefly when accelerating around the 1250-1750 RPM range, then levels off back to normal (around 30).
I am not running hot or anything, and other than that everything seems fine.
The needles flickers a lot on the way up so I am thinking it is maybe the gauge itself rather than the actual oil pressure....
Any ideas?
(I did search for this but all I found was threads on LOW oil pressure or CONSISTANTLY high pressure)

Re: Oil pressure spikes high
most likely a bad sending unit or the gauge itself, for piece of mind you could check it with a mechanical guage.
