just need advice, and or help. I own a 1991 camaro rs 305 tbi automatic ran great but car was from up north and had way to much rust and holes. I bought a 1991 camaro rs 305 tbi automatic which had a blowen engine and only first and second gear, great body. I just got done with the swap and the engine that ran fine is blowing smoke and lacking power. I tried to get it on the road and it seems like it is flooding out not 100% sure. Please HELP

 

Try the other computer. A couple other things it could be are vacuum lines and cracked dizzy cap(left on during install). If the smoke is black then you are flooding the car. I would check or replace the cap, and look for anything disconnected first.

 

thanks I will swap the computer. That is behind the dash on the Passenger side right? What is a dizzy cap and where is it located?

 

Dizzy Cap=Distributor cap...all the spark plug wires run into it.

thanks car runs good i cut off most of the vaccum hoses and plugged them. Now the transmission doesnt seem so smooth. I post that in another area thanks again.
