oil leaking on intake from center 2 bolts

oil leaking on intake from center 2 bolts

like the title says im getting puddles of oil on th eintake from the center intake bolts,under the carb,i have trick flow heads and a performer intake,i think the holes go thru the head,not a blind hole.is oil wicking its way out the bolts?do i need selaer and if so what kind if engine/ol freindly

Yes, you need sealer on the intake bolts. Liquid teflon works well.

yes for sure, remove the bolts that are leaking and buy some RTV Black Silicone sealant. apply some to the bolts then re-install them.

im not a fan of rtv..is the liquid teflon sold by any one brand? is the white pastey stuff any good or is it not oil freindly

I've never had any problems with the liquid Teflon. It actually has a higher temp rating than the typical black RTV.
