WHY IS MY CAR BOGGING OFF THE LINE?
I was on here a while back with the low oil pressure problem . Fixed it with the 50w oil and lucas . now just added used msd 6a and it boggs taking off slow or fast . What can cause this compression is 11.5:1 runnin pump gas plus with octane booster . Had to use 87 because hurricane and no premium available. Any advice will be good.

50W for an oil pressure problem is no "fix" by any stretch.
A bog can have many causes, lean mix is probably the most common.

Mine bogged off the line when I went back to the factorinstall squirters. I went from 28 to 45 front and 45 rear squirters amd solved that issue.

I think bad clearances is the oil pressure issue . but now its 45 psi cold and 25 psi hot . just hate the bogging . it just started after i installed the msd .
----------
does it have any type of adjustments on the ignition box. its one of the older msd 6btm boxes.

I had a similar problem after installing my msd 6A and ended up changing out the hei coil and control module... MSD is great as long as the rest of the ignition system will handle it... may be something to think about...

the only trouble I've seen with msd is when they are wired up wrong... I worked in auto parts for 6 years... seen a few come back to the store for that...
