Hi Gang, just came across this site and think it' s great. I have a 1989 Iroc Convertible (305 TPI) all stock. Original owner. My problem is that I let my car sit for 7 years in my garage and would start it 2 or 3 times a year at most. The battery would have to always be jumped as the alt. went bad. Also I would have to crank the car over about 10 times before it would start. Then it ran really crappy ( no surprise). I recently took it to a mechanic. He changed the alt., battery , fuel pump. plugs and wires and probably a couple of other small things. It's running good, however, it does not want to start on the first time. I turn the key, the engine turns but won't start. Only after the 2nd try will it start. I don't know anything about cars so ANY HELP OR ADVICE would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, P.
