choosing a cam

I'm trying to figure out what cam to install? I'm not sure what the block came out of? The casting # 14101148, the guy I got from said it was a truck block. It was a factory roller cam engine. I was planning on using a set of flat top pistons , with 083 head off a 350 tpi motor, performer intake and carb(1405?). I have a 700r4 and planning on running something like a 3:23-3:55 gear? I basically want the car for a driver, doing some handling upgrades, and want the car to perform well in hilly curvy terrain. I'm guessing something with low to mid range torque and hp? Does that sound right? Can you have both? Would perfer performance over fuel milage but at the price of fuel I would still like to be able to afford to drive it. I'm putting this in a 86 IROC Z. Hope this is enough imfo? Also does anyone know about spring rates for these cars? Would it be benificial to use the suspension from a 91 GTA w/ WS6 package? Thanks for your help

Someone posted this site. I think it is a good guide to go by in cam selection.
