what cam are you using for your 383??
Hey guys, I am building a 383 for my '91. I have had good luck with the 350 in the car but now need to step it up a notch.....but was wondering what cams you guys have been using and maybe throw in some e.t.'s or power numbers to compare against. I currently am using the crane powermax 2032, (part 104224) but it's too small for my current setup let alone a stroked setup (214/220 dur. @.050 and .452/.465 lift), I was looking at some cams from comp like their extreme fuel series or the computer controlled series...but don't know.....throw me some ideas please....the parts that on my car that i'll reuse are in my signature, and was going set my compression ratio around 10 or 10.5:1.

Call Comp Cams Tech Line, and be sure and have ALL the info handy about the engine. They will pick you a winner.
