Break in engine
Well its getting cold outside and I am almost a year behind schedule for getting this thing running. As most of you know, its getting colder outside
so heres the big question... when should I break the cam in? The car is currently undrivable and the engine has been assembled for quite awhile now... I would say a couple months. I will be running 10w30 as break in since I have close calls with clearance and its colder out (40 F outside now), or should I run 15-40 that was recommended earlier this year? I have a additive from comp cam. SBC OR... should I wait till spring when its nice out and break in the cam and rings (requires driving) at the same time?
Hoping to get a answer
