Why no performance results sticky

Just curious why there is not a thread sticky that shows people's mods and their results.

It would be good to have both a 1/4 mile time and dyno results thread with ther performance mods that were on the car. Just a suggestion.

Re: Why no performance results sticky

Good question, as alot of forums have a timeslip database or a official 1/4 mile time sticky

we have the vbgarage for members to use and post up their mods but not everyone uses it

With the thousands on TGO members, a sticky like that would get far out of hand. You wouldn't want to go through hundreds of pages reading everyone's performance result, updates or questions.

I'm in favor of a timeslip database but not a sticky.

TGO is more of an information database about third gens. Not everyone wants or cares for a timeslip or dyno run.

This is all true but other forums still have stickies like that but the first page lists the summary of all the thread so you only have to check the main page. Or have it locked and have members PM you there times and update it accordingly.

For instance, LS1tech has stickies like fastest 6 spd car, fastest cam only, fastest n/a, fastest lsx powered period, stuff like that.

I think we could easily do that here. Like fastest stock L98/Lb9, fastest 305, fastest modded n/a L98, fastest boosted car on stock internals, etc etc

I'm almost certain we talked about this before. But it never took off. Seems like a good idea to me.
