I need some help with a issue i got!!! PLEASE READ AND RESPOND!
Also I have a running issue that I need help shooting down. My car idles fine but when I push down on the gas the car acts like it wants to die. Also once i get it warmed up the car doesnt want to start anymore after its at operating temperature. I also have to keep feathering the pedal to get the vehicle to move anywhere(mash on the pedal up and down)
I've recently changed my spark plugs and fuel filter. Cap/rotor and wires were changed back in jan., ignition control module checked out when I had it tested and the coil is also still good.It has a bad maf sensor but I have a MAF sensor on the way yet the maf has been bad for a while and the vehicle ran fine without it hooked up for the longest. I also ordered a BBK afpr from summit. I also just installed a new coolant temp sensor. Could it possibly be that my TPS sensor went bad? Any ideas or thoughts would be great! Thanks
Oh yeah I also have egr blocked off with caps on my edelbrock headers air tubes and the rest of the emissions removed but the car was running good for a year without any emissions so i doubt that that's where my problem lies.
Again, please give me your thoughts and help me trace this problem down.

Okay, I just put on a BBK afpr but that did not help. The car starts and idles fine but its having the same problems, also after the car is warm it will not start back up!! ANYBODY! HELP!!

That first problem is caused by suddenly going lean. I would start with the TPS, but it could be something else.

I just changed the fuel pressure regulator with a BBK afpr and before I changed it fuel pressure was 20 psi on the gauge and after I changed it out fuel pressure was still 20psi but bounced around on the gauge.
I think my fuel pump is bad cause i cant here it click on or make any whining noise or anything.

pay a shop to put in my BBK in-tank fuel pump. How much do you think this might cost at a speed shop? what about a dealer?

I would bet anything that your pump its self is fine. Id say that the 3" piece of gas line that connects the pump to the sending unit blew. I spent a grand and tons of hours trying to fix that exact same problem. So I cut a hole in the trunk, pulled the sending unit and wala there it was a 3/4" blow out in the gas line. The mear fact that the pump is running is a pretty good indication that the pump is fine. It is very rare for a pump to loose pressure.

Did you check or replace the TPS? Never cut a hole in your floor!!! (Unless you would use duct tape to hold a loose fender on.) It only takes a few hours to remove and replace your fuel pump. Do it the right way.

Wow was that a cheap shot at me. Mine is very trick. I cut my hole then I ussed a bigger piece of aluminum sheeting to fill the gap. I siliconed it down then I drilled in some rivets around the perimiter. Doesnt leak, only takes about 15 minutes to change my pump, and you cant see it when you lay the carpet back down.

and no a my local speed shop will do it for $150 labor. I cant here the pump come on so how do i know its on?
No i havent changed the TPS sensor yet. But what does that have to do with my pressure only being at 20psi?

Check your injectors, I had a similar problem, somone else posted a thread recently in here with similar simptoms too. When the mechanic found the injectors were bad he tested it with a node light, I would recommend having someone look at it who is fammiliar with it. When they looked at mine, the light was still getting a signal and blinking, but it was dim. i would have assumed the light at all meant it was good, but the mechanic said there was a short in two of the injectors which was causing a draw on the whole system. he picked all this up by haveing the node light and noticing it was flashing dimmer than usual
