Dyno's have been around longer than computer controlled vehicles!! It used to be race team only type stuff but not anymore. Yes you can dyno a car with a carb or a diesel for that matter. Yes he would be wrong.

Please learn some grammar…. You can dyno anything from a 4wd truck to a golf cart… It doesn’t matter that it’s a carb or has no computer…

Re: My bro thinks hes smart because he drives a wrx

easy now "nos" does not mean you can take on a modded WRX. I may not like them but you best respect a mildly built one bc they can be very fast if done right.

also remember to build back to front. 400hp does not mean anything if you twist the frame up and blow the rear end. ya know?

Has the guy ever watched horsepower tv or any of those shows. Just like the other members said, you can dyno any vehicle. Golf carts, mopeds, go carts.

Easy there, we weren't born with this information. We are all at different points in the journey of life and knowledge.

Yea were all at different mile marker on this road of life and knowledge
Also there is also more creditably in showing 10 people saying a car with a carburetor can be dyno then one person saying it can be dyno that the other person clearly does not believe.

Re: My bro thinks hes smart because he drives a wrx

I guess I will throw in the common sense factor in. Wheels turn a drum and it doesnt matter what turns the wheels as long as it has enough power to turn the drum on the dyno. I guess having carburated cars and fuel injected cars, and know what makes power, its a given that both can be dyno'd. At least for us old farts!! LOL!
