Re: air foil worth it?
10 horsepower outta the box
well little stuff like that wont make much of a difference when driving around town. but that added up to some more small modifications, like a ram air setup, de screened MAF, siamesed intake runners and plenum, then you might feel it

Re: air foil worth it?
Unless you have some serious mods done to your intake or the airfoil is only about $20 it's a waste of money.

If the stock throttle body is your bottleneck, it works wonders. However, if your throttle body is the major bottleneck, you'd be much smarter upgrading to a bigger throttle body, which have these things made into them.

Re: air foil worth it?
Like stated above, its just a supporting mod, by itself its pretty much useless, but put in with a some other decent engine mods and it might do you some good.

I still think there should be a sticky for airfoil questions.

Re: air foil worth it?
I have one I no longer use since upgrading to a bigger TB with the splitter already shaped as an airfoil.
If you plan to get one anyway, $20 + shipping and it's yours. PM me.
It's a TPIS, which is a little better looking piece than the one shown in your link.

Re: air foil worth it?
Honestly I did notice a difference when I first put it in. Car seemed to pull a little harder. Nothing major, but I could tell the difference.
