Roller rockers.....NSA or self aligning?
Does it make a huge difference between NSA and SA? Wondering what was better for a 305 tpi.

Re: Roller rockers.....NSA or self aligning?
There isnt really a distinct advantage to either system, you will need to purchase rockers that are compatible with your heads. More than likely, unless you have aluminum L98 heads or aftermarket heads with screw in studs, you need self-aligning rockers.

Self adjusting rockers are required on heads that don't have built in pushrod guides.

Would this work? http://www.jegs.com/i/Comp+Cams/249/1418-16/10002/-1 Looking for a relatively inexpensive set of 1.6 rockers.

Re: Roller rockers.....NSA or self aligning?
Yep.
$200 though?
That's hardly budget. I have 1.6 SA rockers that were about $120. Roller tipped.
If you don't have HEFTY springs you won't need those ones.
I think mine are from CNC motorsports...

Re: Roller rockers.....NSA or self aligning?
I bought a set from CNC motorsports once. I liked the rockers but the lock nuts didnt seem right. They felt way too tight. I ended up using a new stock replacement nuts and discarded the ones that came with the rockers.

Re: Roller rockers.....NSA or self aligning?
Those are exactly the ones I have. Even cheaper than I remember.
Those work just fine.
I used poly locks instead, as I have a solid flat tappet cam.
