Well like the title say's im finaly building a new motor and man have i been waiting lol. Im taking the block moday to the machine shop to get checked over before i order all my parts but what i have is a 3932388 virgin bore 69 2 bolt block. Plans for the block at the shop is clean magnafulx bore/hone 0 deck cleranced for stroker crank pistons pressed on rods ect ect you get the idea. Anyway i just ordered scat 9000 lightweight stroker crank and scat press fit 5.7 forged i beam conecting rods for stroker setup. Slugs will be forged wiseco 5cc flattops for stroker. Im keeping the block a 2bolt but studding the mains. i havent ordered the pistons yet just in case for some reason needs more than a .030 overbore. with my brodix ik200 heads 70cc and a stock headgasket i should have around 10.3cr so it will be pumpgas friendly which is my goal since i do plan to drive the car regularly (couple times a week maybe). custom ******* performance stall will be built for my setup once everything is done to help get me going. ill keep the updates as i get them and ill post plenty of pictures. I will also be assembling the engine myself so that should cut down on the costs some. total build should be about $3300-3500 thats everything from heads to oilpan.
