hey guys i know you will be able to help me . i bought a 87 350 tpi motor from a iroc. i am putting it in a s10 but i figured i would ask the guys that know these motors. so heres the story i am rebulding it new rings, bearings, etc i am not sending it to the machine shop. so heres my dilema i called summit and they said i needed the vin . well the cars is long gone.
they say there were two different ring sizes? if anyone can help me i would appreciate it . or if anyone knows where i can get a kit . ive been searching around and i am having hard time finding a kit. thanks in advance!!

If it was originally installed in an '87 350 TPI, it's a VIN "8".
Or, you could just grab a mic and measure the existing rings.

Also, make sure you get the cylinders honed so the rings will seat. Going through all that work and not getting it done right will cause you to do it again.

yes it was a original 87 350 tpi from a iroc, i plan on honning and putting it together right . its just getting the parts together is kinda a pain in the ***. i will have to buy a caliper to measure to make sure i ge the right ones . does anyone know of a company that sells a kit for these motors.
