I have a 1992 Camaro TBI 305 RS and i'm not getting any fuel to the injectors. I had gas dripping out of them becuase it sat over the winter and when i opened the gas cap it quit dripping so i know it's not injectors that are bad. I was wondering if this sounds like a fuel pump problem. I have power to both injectors but it's like theres no pressure building up to get it to the injectors and spray. Any help would be handy at this moment seeing i havent had a car in roughly 5 months lol.

 

check fuel pump relay, fuse, and change filter...probably fuel pump....try hitting gas tank with rubber mallet while having someone cranking on it...it might free up pump

 

Does the fuel pump prime when you turn on the key? You should hear it run for about 2-3 seconds to pressurise the system.

 

I have changed the filter twice and the pump primes. I will jump on looking at it after i get off of work. Thanks for the suggestions guys

 

Have your ignition module tested, a bad ign module will prevent the injectors from spraying.

 

I tapped on the tank and it worked but the car is running but not off the injectors lol. So now i got the car running i have to figure out how to get the injectors to spray.

 

I'm sorry but this dosen't make any sense, the motor absolutly will not run if the injectors are not spraying. (maybe with a shot of starting fluid, but then only for 4 or 5 seconds)

 

As weird as it sounds thats how it is running i watched it. i had my dad sit in the car and it is absoultley not spraying from the injectors. I still dont know how it is running like that. When i take my foot of the pedal the throttle closes and it stops running

 

Running on fumes LOL
You know it won't run without fuel, it is spraying you just can't see it.
Check fuel pressure 10-15 psi anything less is going to cause problems.
