i have a 90 camaro 3.1 it has been sitting 5-8 years so i bought it from a guy who said it jus needed a fuel pump so i put in a whole sending unit and now it starts up but it runs super lean has no power wont get over 15 rough idle. ive checked fuel pressure and it has 45psi wich is fine I checked timing dead on. Ive just ran out of things to do. Any ideas?

Re: engine trouble!!!!

Stuck injectors? Make sure all the injectors are clicking. With the engine running, you can carefully tap on them with a screwdriver handle; this can free them up. It's worked for me on my car.

Re: engine trouble!!!!

Did it have gas sitting in it for 5 years? Did you flush the fuel lines and change the filter? Gas turns to a nasty varnish in that time. Check the fuel pressure too.

One might not, but a few certainly would. Old gas can glue the injector needle valve closed.
