062 vortec mexican head

Hi, I was wondering if the mexican vortec could still make somegood power, im looking for about 380 hp and same torque, but I know the mexican head are known to have not as much flow, does anybody know if this is true or not, and if so could the heads without porting make it to 380 hp?

Re: 062 vortec mexican head

I've never heard of 062 "mexican" heads. 062 should be 062 should be 062. Has anyone else here heard of that difference?

I think with the right cam you should be fine for 380HP. Roller or flat tappet block?
