Where does this engine connector go to?

I was doing some work on my 350 TPI engine the other day and noticed this loose connector (see pic). The connector is back behind the distributor near the passenger side. It looks like it has never been hooked up to anything with the amount of dirt and grime on it. Engine runs fine except for recent code 32. Does anybody know where it should connect too?

Intake air temp sensor maybe? Goes on the bottom of the upper plenum if it is.

Re: Where does this engine connector go to?

Thanks for the reply. I did notice a sensor already screwed into bottom of the intake plenum near the distributor. Maybe I will take off some more parts to see where this connector wire goes to. Engine seems fine, just weird seeing a hanging plug.

Re: Where does this engine connector go to?

it could be for the EGR switch that's bolted to the coil mount .

Re: Where does this engine connector go to?

That connector goes to the egr solenoid that is(or at least should be) mounted right underneath your coil. not incredibly important, mine wasn't hooked up untill recently. but if you're getting an egr code, that might be it. But that is definitely where it belongs.
