Transmission: 4L60E. Right now.
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, Torsion diff, 3.73 gears.
cruise control

My 91 ws6 formula didn't come with cruise. Anyway to add it now?

The factory unit consists of the vacuum throttle activator,
a control unit that gets input from the transmission signal
generator, a vacuum release brake switch, and the wires
that connect everything -- most of which are unfortunately
imbedded in the very large main dash harness. So to scavenge
one out of a used parts yard, would require some detailed
knowledge of what to look for, where to find it, & how to get
it out. If you factor in some time, including allowing for errors,
it might be more advisable to look for an aftermarket unit, with
all the components & instructions. Hope I didn't rain on your
parade to hard...

wouldn't the wires still be there? i mean the vss is still on the car regardless whether the car came with or without cruise.
