i own a 92 25 aniversery rs has 350 block and heads 700r4 trans sometimes when i drop it in gear it stalls it seemes to idle a little high at 1100 rpm and than when warm it idles around 900.any one know a fix just bought the car.

Still TBI, I assume. 3rd gens didn't come with 350's and TBI (which I assume you knew). So, without knowing more about the 350, pretty hard to say what's going on.

In general, though, TBI doesn't like changes (like displacement, cam, exhaust, etc.) without retuning the computer.

 

yes it is still tbi i did not do the swap i just bought the car last week my others ar carb.it has a 60 over 350 with a 400 crank so im told i havent dug it to it yet (if it works run it)i know that there are other mods that have to be made than just droping it in. im not shure what they did if any the car runs great has more power than i need lol it just seem to stall once in awhile when put in gear it dont do it all the time ive checked for intake leaks cleaned the throttle body and egr valve pulled it out of garage and put it in gear it quit.pulled it back in turned up the throtle to raise rpm. seems to be working but idle is alittle high at 1000 if you have any other ideas let me know hate to carb it its a daily driver if any one has a good recipie for this combo let me know
