I've got a 91 Trans Am with a crate 350 in it. I've spent the whole day trying to remove the mini starter so I can replace it and have had no luck with the bolt closest to the right front tire, the "outer" bolt on account that it's acually resting against the aluminum mount block. there is no way to get a socket on it. and heating it and penetrating oil have been useless. I'm at my wits end.

IS there some kind of tool or something that will remove this bolt. it doesn't even turn with a wrench and I'm stuck now!

 

Drop the Y-pipe and put a 6 point socket on it. Don't round the corners off trying to get it with an open end wrench. You've got almost 3/4 of an inch of threads to back out plus some distance to drop the bolt out so you're going to need the room anyway.
