ok,these 89 oem lower intake gaskets are on solid,what the best way to get these off? there tough bastards i dread plugginf al the holes and die grinding them off.

find a stiff knife in your kitchen and use that. Seriously. I do it a few times every month. Serrated blades can be helpful, but until you have some practice, they're more likely to do harm to your parts.

Got a gasket removal tool for napa,looks like a long pry bar lol,they came off with ease tapping the tool along pealing them off in as much of one pice has possible,to save myself some work,i got 95% off in 15 mins
How ever ther is some thin material wher i didint get completely under the gasket,keep scrapping i guess? or ????

There are wire brush things that you chuck into a drill, those are okay. Don't use the abrasive pad style, they'll leave you with a leak point when you reassemble everything because they'll eat into iron.

I use a heat gun on really stubborn ones. It softens them up.

Covered the bock with rags,plugged the holes on head with rags,lol taped a shop vac to a drill,used a wire wheel and wow it worked great! sucking up most debre has i went along,
the thouroguhly cleaned and shop vacced every crevis for any debres of gasket,I will flush my oil and coolent system after this stealth ram is installed,thx for the guidence.
