For $110 it would be so much easier to just get the correct valve covers!
And note the description says that Narrow body rocker arms are required to clear the adapter.
But yes it does obviously exist.

You can't use full roller rocker arms. They are typically too fat.
You like the way perimeter bolt covers look? I'll admit that I'm a function-over-form guy, but I just can't see thinking perimeter bolt covers look better. And I'd never sacrifice better function for better looks, let alone better function for worse (in my opinion) looks.

I'm not sure with the adapters but I am currently running full bodied full roller aluminum 1.5 rockers under a set of standard height cast aluminum center-bolt valve covers with no problems

Re: Perimeter Bolt Valve Covers on Center Bolt Heads?
I put a set of those adapter's on a GTA, they work well, no leaks. I will say this though, the side bolt valve covers a hell of alot easier to get on and off with out taking alot of **** apart compared to the centerbolts.

Re: Perimeter Bolt Valve Covers on Center Bolt Heads?

Couldn't keep gaskets sealed on my TFS perimeter bolt heads.Different brands of gasket , glued gasket to cover; the crankcase pressure of the 383 would blow the gasket out somewhere.
New heads ( same TFS ) are centerbolt ; not a leak in sight

Did it have stock valve covers? If so you must really know how to put them on correctly, over-torque the screws just a little " like most people tend to do" and you bend the covers, then get a leak. The more solid cast covers did ok, but still not near as good as center bolts.

Re: Perimeter Bolt Valve Covers on Center Bolt Heads?
On the driver side the alternator stud where you connect the large wire to the batt hits the lip on the centerbolts and you cant shift them forward/backward because of the supports on in the center go all the way down between the rockers. The passenger side, hahahaha, heater hoses air injection hoses, wiring harness the a/c compressor...tons of stuff in the way. With perimeter covers, yes it does take an extra minute or two to get the bolts out, but you can have to covers off in like 5 minutes.
We haven't had any problems with leaks on the side bolts. Using the Fel Pro rubber gaskets and the valve cover spreader bars. these beauties right here, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TRD-4993/?image=large if anyone doesn' know what I am talking about

Have you ever pulled the valve covers with the engine fully assembled in a 3rd gen?

Re: Perimeter Bolt Valve Covers on Center Bolt Heads?
It is. My 1992 had serpentine and had the same issue. Getting the valve cover off was always a PITA, then when I swapped to the 350, I installed a nice set of chrome perimeter covers on - but still had the same issue. In fact, with the serpentine alternator on the driver side, the new chrome valve covers would touch that bolt on the alternator - so I had to remove the alternator and bang a ding in the corner of the valve cover to just have enough space there so that the bolt didn't touch, then I put a rubber vacuum cap on the bolt to keep the juice from arcing across tothe valve cover.
I have since swapped out for the 1/2 serp 1/2 v-belt brackets from the earlier IROCS, removed A/C, and relocated alt to pass side - problem solved for me.
FYI - the perimeter covers won't help you any, and may be worse (like mine were). It's a serpentine bracket/alternator issue.
