Re: lost my keys
Auto parts stores rent lock plate removal tools. Usually you pay a deposit and then when you bring it back you get all your money back. Autozone, Schucks, oreilly's have them for rent. I use one so much I bought one to take with me to the wrecking yards.

Re: lost my keys
Yep you are going to need that tool to take the plate off and put it back on. They are pretty cheap actually, I just bought one to save the trouble of renting it.

Re: lost my keys
If you dont want to buy the tool you can build your own.. I did it, I will quote my post from another thread intead of writing a new one
So thats another way to go if you dont want to buy the tools, cheap and worked the same way

You need an Steering Wheel puller and a Lock Plate Depressor,
Star by removing the bolts and horn button.
Steering wheel removed, and the Lock Plate is showing
I built my own Lock Plate Depressor, as shown below:
Remove the locker ring
Lockplate gone. Remove all loose things, and photo to remember how it was assebled
The black bolt is for removing the ignition lock cylinder
You dont have vats so you wouldnt have the wire into the lock cylinder, Just turn the lock cylinder clockwise (i think it was) and remove it, install the newone turning it counterclock wise and insert bolt and then check to see if it turns ok.. if it does assemble everything, if not, adjust the lock cylinder.
You got more pictures from my change of the ignition lock cylinder : http://theking.joakimweb.se/z28/proj...nitionlock.htm
Its in swedish but you see the pictures, hope this post help you out.
