13.2 in the 1/4 mile! REALLY???

Thought this add was interesting. Says he's doing 13.2 in the quarter mile. No major mods from what i read? Stock 5 liter engine too.

In stock form, the 86 Lb9 was one of the bottom of the bucket TPI performers. They've got all the early TPI issues (not as bad as 85, but close) plus they all have the peanut cam. The 85 LB9 cam was actually larger. Also the 5spd didn't come along until 87... Unless he's got mods he's not disclosing (not too unlikely) I wouldn't bet on that car running even a 14 anything.

EXACTLY what i'm saying! I mean from what I read my stock L98 runs high 14's on a good day. Go figure!
