Does upgrading your heads require a tune?

Does upgrading your heads require a tune?

If you put aftermarket heads on will it require a tune to idle, race, and drive properly? With my limited knowledge I am guessing you don't need a tune because the MAF meter measures the air coming in and adjusts the fuel accordingly.

i think you would just be able to reset the computer by unplugging the battery for while and let it learn by itself...not sure though

You will find MAF cars are more adaptable to changes, a custom tune will enhace the performance a bit....
