Mini starter bendex pulls out during acc.
My Mini starter clears perfectly when the car isn't on. When I start the engine, it turns over real smooth and quite, yet when I put a little load on it the bendix seems to pull out closer to the flexplate. Does it especially in reverse. Any solutions/fixes I can do to this, have looked throught the forums without much luck. Thanks

Wait........ what??
Your starter is engaging the spur gear with the flexplate teeth when you put the can in gear? Like it's halfway engaging and grinding? Am I understanding correctly?

Your were correct, but I believe the problem is with the torque converter. See once upon a time I accidentally put manual bolts in with out noticing then I tighten them all the way and drove them in the torque converter, thus bending the tabs. So I believe that is my problem.

EDIT: Whoops! Sometimes when reading through searched threads I forget to check dates
