Long waterpump or short???

Axle/Gears: GM 10 bolt 3.73 Posi
Long waterpump or short???

Would a waterpump from an 88' 350 be considered a long or short waterpump? I bought an underdrive pulley kit and the crank pulley sits back farther then the waterpump pulley leading me to believe I have a long waterpump.
