5.7 tpi will not start without starting fluid but once started it stays running. Once warm the motor will restart. As soon as it cools right back to the no starting issue Please help

 

Sounds like your prime circuit from the ECM is not functioning
Once you get it running the oil pressure circuit takes over and powers the fuel circuit
Until someone chimes in you could do some searching here as I have seen many threads that touch on this

 

I did research it sounds like simular issue in another post . magnetic pick up sensor in the distribitor. Thanks i will keep reading.

 

So after changing the distrib, cap, rotor still wouldn,t start on its own next checked the IAC vavle seem to be fine then check the MAF, TPS and finnally changing the injectors.Old ones ohmed out from 5.6 to 16 changed them all.
163.00 form amazon pyhthons 24lb/hr then readusting the distrb and timing.

The car now starts on its own .

New problem The motor seems to run very nice have it idling about 750rpms
as long as i dont punch it it runs great. when i punch it or get heavy on the throttle the car wants to stall or bucks but as soon as i let off runs great. Should i retime the car? Plaese help.
